Islamabad: Oct 31, 2020 (TNS): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz says the government will not allow anyone to give statements against the state institutions and damage the country’s image.<\/p>\n

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today (Saturday), he said certain elements from opposition parties have spoken against the state institutions for securing their vested interests.<\/p>\n

The Minister said former Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq’s anti-state statement provided the Indian media an opportunity to unleash propaganda against Pakistan.

He said the elements, who are harming the country, will be held accountable and legal options are being deliberated upon for this very purpose.<\/p>\n

The Minister said the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s narrative is destabilizing the country, but the saner elements within the opposition parties do not agree with the narrative of their leaders.<\/p>\n

He said there is also public resentment over the statements made against the state institutions.<\/p>\n

Shibli Faraz said it is the priority of the government to ensure stability and prosperity in the country and it is fully prepared to protect the country’s interests.<\/p>\n

He said the PTI government has taken measures to control inflation and several initiatives are afoot to provide jobs and houses to people as the economy has already been stabilized.<\/p>\n

Later, in a tweet statement, Information Minister Shibli Faraz has questioned the members and activists of PML-N whether they are loyal to homeland or a certain family.<\/p>\n

He said it is high time to raise voice for motherland and to make a patriotic decision.<\/p>\n
