Islamabad: Feb 04, 2021 (TNS): Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed on Friday to express whole hearted support of Pakistani nation to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under the UN resolutions.<\/p>\n
The day will also be marked to expose worst ever oppression perpetrated by India against Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K). <\/p>\n
On the occasion, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will address a public gathering at Kotli in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
One minute silence will be observed at 10:00 am across the country.<\/p>\n
Solidarity walks will be arranged in Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and four provincial headquarters.<\/p>\n
Human chains will be formed at Kohala and other important points linking Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.<\/p>\n
Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Television and private channels will broadcast special programme to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
PUNJAB <\/p>\n
In Punjab, several government departments will hold Kashmir rallies and gatherings at Divisional, District and Tehsil level.<\/p>\n
Punjab Chief Minister, Sardar Usman Buzdar has appealed to public to actively participate in these rallies and gatherings.<\/p>\n
He said that these rallies will give a clear message to the Modi Government that Kashmir belongs to Pakistan and always remains so. <\/p>\n
In Provincial Capital Lahore, major and small political parties besides several social, academic and non-governmental organizations are also finalizing their arrangements to hold Kashmir rallies and gatherings.<\/p>\n
GILGIT-BALTISTAN<\/p>\n
In Gilgit-Baltistan, protest rallies will be organized in all districts of three divisions to condemn state terrorism and brutalities of Modi government against Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n
In Gilgit, main protest rally will start from Benazir Chowk which passing through main bazar will convert into a public gathering at Attihad Chowck in the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
