Islamabad: July 16, 2021 (TNS): A high level meeting of “Clean and Green Islamabad” board chaired by CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed was held at CDA headquarters here on Friday. Shafaq Hashmi administrator MCI ,representatives of CTTI Islamabad, renowned jurist and lawyer Riaz Hanif Rahi, representatives of Horticulture Society Islamabad, representatives of the Ministry of Climate Change, DG Environment CDA and Regional Director Environment attended the meeting and gave briefing to the CDA chairman.

\nOn this occasion, the Chairman CDA while issuing instructions said that in order to make the Federal Capital more beautiful and attractive, the same type of trees and plants should be planted on every highway, intersection, roadside slopes, green belts so that it has its own identity. He told the participants to Introduce modern techniques for tree plantations and ensure monitoring.He further instructed to plant beautiful trees along the drains.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the CDA Chairman also issued orders to set up a portal to involve the citizens in tree planting matters and ensure full participation of the citizens.
