Srinagar, Nov. 21 (TNS): At least three freedom fighters were martyred by Indian security forces during an encounter in occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s Handwara on Tuesday.
The oppressor army had killed five young Kashmiris last week as atrocities in occupied valley continue to crush the freedom movement.
A day earlier, Hizbul Mujahideen freedom fighter Adil Rashid Chopan was martyred in a brief shootout at Gulshanpora Gujjarbasti area of Tral town in South Kashmir’s Puwama district on Monday.
A guerilla war is going on between freedom fighters and Indian troops stationed in Indian- occupied Kashmir since 1989. The gunfight between the two sides takes place intermittently across the region.
