No minus-Nawaz formula acceptable: Abid Sher

Multan June 10 (TNS):  While lashing out at opponents, Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Saturday said that no minus-Nawaz formula was acceptable to them

“Listen unmistakably, the minus-Nawaz formula was neither acceptable before nor will be in the future. Our detractors wanted us to pitch against institutions to create chaos, but we will not let this happen,” he said while talking to reporters.

While criticising the PTI chief Imran Khan, he said that it was Imran who actually attempted to malign and browbeat Supreme Court judges before seeking pardon from them.

He alleged that he was misusing resources of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government while staying in Nathia Gali, “where he has opened a laundry shop” to conspire against institutions. “The PTI wants chaos and confrontation. Stop playing with institutions. Those taking the name of the JIT are robbers and thieves. Stop playing while taking refuge behind institutions,” he said. While challenging the detractors, he said that “we will fight you in the streets, in courts and in the political arena. We will defeat you everywhere”.

While criticising former president Asif Ali Zardari, the minister said that Zardari and Imran were two sides of the same coin. He said that Zardari and cohorts were selling the coffin of the late Benazir Bhutto and people are deserting the party with only Zardari leading the party.

“These (Zardari and Imran) are scorpions and they sting from behind,” he said demanding to form a JIT on model Ayyan Ali.

He also criticised PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan and accused his wife of taking favours from former dictator Pervez Musharraf in the LPG contract.

Abid said that they have furnished all evidence before the JIT and the ruling party and the Sharif family been giving accountability for the last 40 years.
