Rawalpindi, July 19 (TNS): Rejecting Kabul’s concerns, Pakistan Army on Wednesday said that Afghanistan’s response to Khyber-IV operation is totally unwarranted, military media wing said.
In a statement, the Director-General of Inter Services Public Relations Asif Ghafoor said that Afghan Defence Ministry’s response over the latest anti-terrorism operation is in conflict with to Pakistan Army’s efforts for better Pak-Afghan collaboration and coordination.
The military spokesman said not only Afghan authorities were provided information about Khyber-IV but Resolute Support Mission was also taken in confidence.
DG ISPR reiterated Pakistan Army’s resolve for security coordination and collaboration based on mutual trust to defeat terrorists who are common enemy.
“Rhetoric of baseless accuses and evocative allegations are not helpful as this is the agenda of forces working against peace in the region, which should be avoided”, the statement concluded.
