Islamabad, March 23 (TNS): On eve of Pakistan-Day, Pakistan Air Force’s aircrafts created a beautiful formation of Allah’s name over Islamabad’s skies.
The 78th Pakistan Day celebrated on Friday with traditional zeal and fervour to mark Lahore resolution demanding a separate homeland for the Muslims of South Asia.
The main event to mark the national day held at parade ground where troops marched past while the fighter jets presented a fly-past. Floats depicting the culture of different regions was also displayed on the occasion.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Defence Minister Khurran Dastgir, all three services chiefs and other dignitaries are also witnessing the parade.
Sri Lankan President Maithripala Yapa Sirisena is participating at the event as a special guest while delegations from Turkey, Malaysia, UAE, Saudi Arabia and China are also witnessing the parade.
