Pakistan stands by Kashmiris right to self-determination: FM


Islamabad: July 13, 2020 (TNS): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says the entire Pakistani nation, including the civil and military leadership, stands by Kashmiris in their just struggle for right to self-determination.

In his message on Kashmir Martyrs Day on Monday, he said Pakistan will continue supporting Kashmiris until they achieve freedom from the Indian occupation.

The Minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan raised a forceful voice for the right of Kashmiris at every international forum, including the United Nations, and tried to present the case of Kashmir as an ambassador of Kashmir.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said India is being gradually exposed, and the entire world saw India’s embarrassment at the hands of China at Ladakh. He said China believes that India has been occupying several disputed territories of China and Pakistan.

The Minister urged the Muslim Ummah to raise voice for the oppressed Kashmiris.

He said India used different tactics to suppress the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom struggle, but it failed in it.
