Pakistani Umrah pilgrims reach Jeddah without belongings

Jeddah June 07 (TNS): Pakistani Umrah pilgrims, who were airlifted from several parts of Qatar, on Wednesday found themselves in a fix at the Jeddah airport after they found their belongings missing at the lounge.

A large number of Pakistani pilgrims said that they were transported to Jeddah via Qatar Airways and Oman Airline, however, they were struggling to ascertain the exact location of their belongings that include medicine, travel documents and wearing stuff.

The Pakistani pilgrims, who now have stranded at the Jeddah airport, said that the offices of the Qatar Airways were locked while the Oman Airline was still ascertaining the exact location of their belongings.

They have appealed to the Pakistani embassy in Jeddah to help them locate their luggage and other belongings.
