Islamabad Jun 14 (TNS): Opposition Leader in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has stuck in closed alley in the Panama Papers case and could come out only by breaking the wall.
Talking to media persons outside Parliament, Aitzaz claimed that the government has made three plans to rescue Nawaz.
According to him, the plan ‘A’ is to get out of the Panama mess by tampering with documents, bribing Panama JIT members and making the Panama bench controversial.
Under the plan B, he said, the government will use delaying tactics and make the Panama bench and JIT controversial and in case of adverse verdict, it will reject it.
Under the plan C, the government will repeat the Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s episode as Gulu Butts will be taken to the Supreme Court to intimidate the bench.
He said that the government was trying to force at least any one of the judges of the bench to recuse himself from the bench.
Regarding Prime Minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia, he said that what kind of a pressure a client can exert on Saudi Arabia and Qatar. He claimed that Saudi Arabia has asked Nawaz to clarify his position whether he was with them or Qatar and Iran.
