RAWALPINDI Oct 4 (TNS): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Wednesday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had struck an under-hand deal (Mukmuka) over appointment of new Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Qureshi said that he rejected the names proposed by PPP and PML-N for appointment as new chairman NAB.
He said that there was a ‘Mukmuka’ between PPP and PML-N over appointment of new chairman NAB. He said that he was parliamentary leader of PTI in the National Assembly but Khurshid Shah did not contact him over the appointment.
He said that the new chairman NAB would be part-II of incumbent Chairman Qamaruz Zaman.
The PTI leader said that the name of DG IB Aftab Sultan, who had met disqualified PM in London, was on top of the list for appointment as NAB chairman.
