LAHORE July 15 (TNS):  Liaquat Baloch, secretary general Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), on Saturday called on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Mian Manzoor Watto at his residence to discuss the political situation of the country.

Baloch was accompanied by JI leader Farid Ahmed Paracha. During the meeting, PAT leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur also joined them. They discussed Panama issue and opposition demand for Prime Minister’s resignation.

Talking to media, Watto said that Prime Minister should resign so that no harm was caused to democracy in the country. He added that the Prime Minister wanted to construct palaces after seeing Arab royals palaces.

Baloch said that those distributing sweets on SC order to constitute JIT should also distribute sweets on its report.  He asked the Prime Minister to resign, saying that the masses want to eat sweet once again.

The PPP, PAT and JI leader agreed to launch movement for Prime Minister resignation if he did not step down.
