Punjab govt spending billions of rupees to provide relief to masses in Ramzan: Shahbaz

LAHORE, June 13 (TNS): Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that Punjab government is spending billions of rupees to provide relief to the masses in the holy month of Ramzan.
In a statement issued from Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif said, “Provincial government has also launched various mega projects to improve quality of life of deprived segment of society.”
He said, “Historic relief package of over nine billion rupees is being given to provide relief to people during the holy month under which Rs 8.78 billion are being spent on the provision of subsidized flour.”
He said that he is personally monitoring implementation of Ramzan Relief Package to ensure provision of its fruits to the common people.
