Rawalpindi Rescue 1122 saves 32 people in 24 hours


Rawalpindi April 25 (TNS): Rescue 1122 has rescued a total of 32 people in some 29 road accidents reported to district command and control room in last 24 hours, a press release said.

According to the press release, 21 serious injured victims were shifted to different hospitals of Rawalpindi. However, 10 victims, who sustained minor injuries, were provided first aid at the spot by Emergency Medical Teams of Rescue 1122 and in these reported Road Traffic Crashes One(01) victim expired.

According to the data, 18 drivers, 10 Passengers and 04 pedestrians were among the victims of these road traffic crashes. Further details show that total 32 victims were affected by road traffic crashes included 24 males and 08 females, while age group of the victims show that 02 were below 18 years of age, 19 were between 18 to 40 years, 08 were between 41 to 60 years of age and 03 were above 60 years of age.
