Rocket Hits Indian Ambassador’s House in Kabul

KABUL, June 6 (TNS): A rocket fired off in Kabul city Tuesday morning reportedly landed on the tennis court of the Indian ambassador’s house in the city.

The incident happened at about 11:15am. The house is in the heavily fortified diplomatic quarter, in Kabul, which houses a number of embassies, guesthouses and Resolute Support headquarters. According to a source, no casualties were reported.

This comes amid extremely tight security in the capital following last week’s deadly explosions and the launch on Tuesday of the Kabul Process meeting.

Representatives from at least 23 countries are in Kabul for a meeting aimed at establishing peace in the country.

  1. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.
