Islamabad June 17 (TNS): A long queue of traffic jam is being witnessed at Faizabad since Saturday morning as police have put up blockades at Faizabad intersection, barring all kind of vehicles from entering Islamabad as part of security measures taken during the appearance of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif before the Joint Investigation Team probing the Panama Papers case.
Scenes of verbal altercations and scuffles between motorists and the traffic officials were also reported as drivers attempted to force open the barriers put up by the security officials.
The main Islamabad Expressway from Islamabad to Zero Point Islamabad has completely been blocked by the traffic police. Police have diverted coming from Rawalpindi to 9th Avenue. Police have instructed motorists to use the Ninth Avenue to commute between the twin cities
