Peshawar, Oct 04 (TNS): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Tourism and Youth Affairs Atif Khan said strict action will be taken against those who may challenge writ of the government.
Responding to a question in the provincial assembly in Peshawar on Friday, he said strike is the basic right in democracy but no one should disturb peace of the society.
Leader of the opposition Akram Khan Durrani criticized the statement of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan regarding JUI march.
The opposition members staged protest in the house.
The assembly also passed three bills.
These are the Code of Criminal Procedure (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) (Amendment) Bill, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Code of Civil Procedure (Amendment) Bill and the Succession (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) (Amendment) Bill 2019.
The house will now meet again on Monday at 02 pm.
