Terrorist killed, five hideouts destroyed during raids in Balochistan: ISPR


Rawalpindi, July 6 (TNS): Under ongoing operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence agencies conducted search operation in different parts of Balochistan on Thursday, killing a terrorist belonging to a banned outfit and decimated five militant hideouts, military media wing ISPR says.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations statement, the operations were carried out in Sui, Kahaan and Sibbi areas.

The terrorist, killed during an exchange of fire, was involved in several criminal activities, the ISPR added.

A cache of explosives and weapons were also recovered, the statement added.

The raid was conducted as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, new military offensive launched against “latent threat of terrorism” in February this year.
