Three professors die on road

Multan July 8 (TNS): In an unfortunate and tragic road accident, three professors of Emerson College Multan were killed in Chakri near Rawalpindi early Saturday after their car veered off the road and plunged into a ditch.

Prof Rana Dilshad, Prof Rao Zafar Iqbal and Prof Rao Zulfiqar were heading to Murree when their car met the accident while negotiating a curve.

The bodies were shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad for formal medico-legal formalities before they were transported to Multan in an ambulance.

The funeral prayers of deceased professors would be offered on the football ground of Emerson College at 10pm on Saturday evening.
