UNSC session will increase pressure on India to step back from aggressive moves: Akram

UN: Jan 18, 2020 (): Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to United Nations, Munir Akram has said recent United Nations Security Council (UNSC) session on the occupied Kashmir is diplomatic victory and success of Pakistan.

Talking to private news channel, he said the session would increase pressure on India to step back from making aggressive moves in the region.

Pakistan envoy said 50-year old UN resolutions on Kashmir had become functional yet which also rubbishing Indian arguments that Kashmir is an internal matter.
