US Senate, White House agree on $2 trillion rescue for virus-hit US economy

US: March 25, 2020 (TNS): The US Senate and White House have reached an agreement on a 2 trillion US dollars economic stimulus bill to alleviate the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

This was stated by White House official Eric Ueland in Washington on Wednesday.

The Senate and House of Representatives still need to pass the legislation before sending it to President Donald Trump for his signatures.

Earlier, the World Health Organization has said the United States could soon become the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic.
