Higher educational institutions can play vital role to cope climate change

Islamabad: Dec 27, 2021 (TNS): The higher educational institutions in Pakistan can play a vital role to cope with the climate change and promote tourism in the country.

These views were expressed by the Vice Chancellor of Kohsar University Murree Dr. Syed Farrukh Habib during an interview with News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan.

He said the universities and higher educational institutions are also working on new varieties of different crops to increase per acre yield after climate change issues.

Dr Syed Habib Bukhari said in the prevailing scenario, new research in agriculture sector is imperative to meet the challenges of food security.

He said that universities have now launched various programmes to increase online learning.
