Islamabad: Jan 13, 2022 (TNS): Three committees constituted regarding Electronic Voting Machines and Voting Rights to Overseas Pakistanis submitted their reports before a meeting of Election Commission of Pakistan chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Secretary Election Commission briefed the meeting about the reports and all stages involving the purchase of EVMs and their use.

It was decided to ensure completion of all the processes involved in the purchase of EVMs for the pilot project with the direction that all rules and regulations should be followed, ensuring the quality, secrecy and security of machines.
