Islamabad: Jan 28, 2022 (TNS): ISLAMABAD-The National Journalists Panel has vehemently rejected the unlawful and unethical adament stance of Journalist Panel and the Independent panel of declaring their victory in the National Press Club Elections 2022 without counting of ballot papers. The candidate for president of National Journalists Panel Javed Malik and the Candidate for Secretary Finance Ms Fauzia Kalsoom Rana in social media talk live from NPC Islamabad said that their panel rejects the blackmailing tactics of the corrupt groups that have been hijacking the elections for the last many years. They said that the delaying tactics in starting of counting and stopping the election Committee from its mandate show that these group once again want to hijack the elections in their favour. They demanded the administration and MoIB to intervene and help the committee declare free and fair result by proper counting of ballots.
Ms Fauzia Rana said that the National Journalists Panel bagged most of the voted, which unnerved the losing group and in order to conceal their defeat they have resorted to unlawful tactics. She said that the workers and Journalists who voted to choose their true representatives will never let their precious voted go in waste.
Speaking at the occasion, Abdul Hameed Langraw said that the corrupt groups which have been occupying the NPC for the past many terms has been shaken to the core that’s why they have resorted to such illogical stance of not allowing the counting of ballots to start. Mr Langraw said that voters have thrown these groups, which have been posing to be the representatives of the journalists, out of power like the past years but they are resisting the reality and still wants to live in a fool’s paradise.
