Islamabad: Feb 09, 2022 (TNS): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says Pakistani media is amongst the most independent media around the world.
He was addressing a condolence reference in the memory of senior journalist Rahimullah Yousafzai and Dr Hafiz Sanaullah at press club in Peshawar today (Wednesday)
The Minister said government, under dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has put the country on track of development.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the Prime Minister has made serious efforts to make Pakistan a social welfare state.
He said despite the challenge of global pandemic of Coronavirus, the government successfully carried on progress in fields of health, agriculture and industry.
Earlier, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain paid tribute to the tremendous services of globally renowned journalist and Afghan affairs expert, Rahimullah Yousafzai.
