Islamabad: Apr 15, 2022 (TNS): Rawalpindi/Islamabad: Blue World City’s AwamiDastarkhwan continues to host free Sehr&Iftar for the people of Chakri and surrounding areas. AwamiDastarkhwan is a free soup kitchen serving two free meals a day to hundreds of people in a very respectable manner. As always, the weekly menu for Sehr and Iftar during the blissful month of Ramzan consists of a balanced healthy diet including meat, vegetable, chickpeas, lintels, rice and roti is served with the traditional servings of dates, red sherbet and tea. The food is prepared in a neat and clean kitchen and served in a dining hall by a team of employees and volunteers in properly washed utensils maintaining highest standards of health and hygiene. AwamiDastarkhwan is a blessing for the poor people worst hit by the price hike in food commodities.
Similarly, another public welfare initiative of the group is the Blue World Clinic which provides free treatment and medicine to the people. During Ramzan even more people are visiting the clinic with complaints of dehydration, diarrhea, indigestion and the likes due to high atmospheric temperature, poor sanitation and eating habits. However, the team of doctors, paramedics, and pharmacists at Blue World Clinic is serving the people with complete dedication.
Blue World Clinic organizes free eye camps to provide free tests, glasses and even surgery to the people. During the last 12 months the clinic has organized 2 free eye camps in collaboration with Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Chakri and Islamabad providing free tests and free glasses to thousands of patients and free eye surgery to hundreds of patients at Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Chakri and Islamabad. Blue World Clinic and its free eye camps offer a silver lining to patients from all age groups and socioeconomic segments.
Under the umbrella of Blue World Foundation, Blue World City is all set to launch a free dialysis center in Chakri, providing a lifeline to kidney patients in and around Chakri. Dialysis is life-saving procedure for patients suffering from kidney and renal issues. Depending on the condition of the patient, the procedure is required on regular basis. Since each session costs thousands of rupees, it becomes unaffordable for the lower middle and underprivileged classes but Blue World City is committed to keep the hope alive for every patient.
In addition to the above, Blue World City arranges relief packages for the people of calamity hit areas in any part of the country. The special Ramzan Ration Packages are a blessing for families in and around Chakri who are worst hit by the current price hike of food commodities.
