Islamabad: Apr 23, 2022 (TNS): For two months CCRC DIK has been working to infiltrate an underground criminal network involved in the production and supply of Forged Silicon Thumbs that are used for all kinds of illegal activities.
The operation was a success when our team finally trapped a significant lead in the network. Through this lead, the raiding team was able to recover an outrageous amount of forged silicon thumbs and other illicit devices.
Seizures
1. ~3200 Forged silicon thumbs.
2. Silicon thumbs production devices and material.
3. ~850 CNIC copies.
4. Multiple SIMs, BVS and Banking devices.
5. Mobile Phones & Laptops with incriminating material.
Further leads in the case are identified to be investigated by the circle under FIR 8/22 dated 22/04/2022;
