Lahore, August 2 (TNS): Lahore police, on directions of DIG Operations, launched cracked down against drug hawkers in Lahore and seized huge cache of narcotics and gutka worth millions rupees.
According to details, SP City Operation Adil Mamon ordered all SDPOs and SHOs to take strict action against drug trafficker and vendors in their respective areas.
During crack downs, Lahore police recovered more than 10kg of drugs from different parts of the city and arrested two culprits involved in drug trafficking and vending.
The value of the drug is more than Rs 1 million.
A large quantity of gutka was also recovered from various parts of the division, police said adding that 494,000 packets of gutka whose value is more than Rs. 10 million.
