100 days before the start of ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 in India between Pakistan and India on October 15 in Ahmedabad, the final schedule of the event has been released and the opening match of the tournament will be between the finalist teams of 2019. . England and New Zealand. The match between the two countries will be played at the Ahmedabad Stadium on October 5.

A total of 10 teams will participate in the tournament, out of which eight teams have directly qualified for the World Cup, while two teams will be decided at the end of the qualifier tournament to be held in Zimbabwe on July 9.

Each team will play 9 matches in a round-robin format similar to the 2019 format and the four teams with the highest points will compete in the semi-finals.

Before the start of the tournament, all the teams will play warm-up matches in Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati.

India’s largest stadium, Ahmedabad, will host a match between arch-rivals Pakistan and India on October 15.

India will play all its round matches in the event at 9 venues while Pakistan’s matches in the league stage will be played at five venues.

The Pakistani team will play its first match in the event on October 6 against the qualifier team in Hyderabad while the second match is also scheduled against the other qualifier team at the same venue.

The national team will then take on arch-rivals India on October 15, while they will face the challenge of Australia on October 20 in Bengaluru.

The Green Shirts’ next Test is against Afghanistan in Chennai on October 23, followed by Pakistan and South Africa on October 27.

In the World Cup, the Pakistani team will play the seventh match against Bangladesh on October 31 and on November 4, the match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played in Bangalore.

The national team will play its final round match on November 12 against defending champions England.

Apart from this, in other important matches played in the event, New Zealand and Australia teams will face each other in Dharamsala on October 29, Australia and England will face each other in Ahmedabad on November 4, while New Zealand and South Africa teams will face each other. Apart from this, the hosts India will play their first match against Australia in Chennai on October 8, while they will face New Zealand on October 22 and England on October 29.
