Islamabad – 4 December 2023 (Adnan Hameed): The CAS- Serena Hotels Men & Women International Squash Championship 2023 reached a spectacular conclusion at the Mushaf Squash Complex, Pakistan Sports Board Islamabad. Players from Pakistan, Malaysia, Egypt, Hong Kong, and Spain showcased exceptional talent throughout the tournament.
In a riveting Men’s final, world No. 112, Noor Zaman, delivered a stellar performance, securing victory against the formidable Asim Khan, ranked 72 globally. The Women’s final featured a gripping match between Amina El Rihanny from Egypt and Nadien El Hammamy, with Amina emerging victorious, clinching the Women’s Squash Championship.
The closing ceremony, graced by the Guest of Honor Air Marshal Irfan Ahmed Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), expressed gratitude to Serena Hotels for hosting this prestigious International Squash Championship.
