Karachi Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner South, Captain (Retd) Altaf Hussain Sario, the DC South Sports Festival 2023\24 (The Series of Events) participated by the students belonging to various Schools of South Karachi. The sports festival executed by District Sports Officer Farid Ali Karachi South and Assistant Commissioner Revenue Syed Taha Ahmed. The event showcased the prowess of students in Arms Wrestling, Taekwondo, and Ring Ball. In the Ring Ball game three teams of different schools such as YMCA Ring Ball Team, National Ring Ball Academy Team and Warriors Ring Ball DHA Team had participated in which National Ring Ball Academy Team secured the first while Warriors Ring Ball DHA Team got 2nd position and third position was taken by YMCA school. The primary objective of the festival was to not only foster a culture of sports among students but also to spotlight their talents, underscoring the symbiotic relationship between sports and education for societal advancement. The laurels bestowed upon the winning teams, comprising medals and cash prizes, were graciously distributed by Deputy Commissioner South, Assistant Commissioner Aram Bagh, District Sports Officer, and Assistant Commissioner Revenue
