Lahore, March 15:
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has ordered to undertake strict monitoring of the roads construction and repair programme. CM asserted that she would not tolerate corruption in the roads construction and repair project. CM has directed to launch work on the five Express ways including Vehari-Multan at the earliest. CM presided over a special meeting in which briefing was given about the roads construction and repair project. Work on the Salam Interchange up to Sargodha was reviewed and approval was granted for the ongoing ADP Development Programme, roads rehabilitation,construction and repair. Maryam Nawaz maintained that excellent and durable roads will be constructed across Punjab adding that lane marking of every road will also be undertaken. Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, former Senator Pervez Rasheed, Provincial Minister for C&W Sohaib Bharath, MPA Sania Ashiq, Chairman P&D, Secretary Finance, Secretary C&W and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
