In line with directions of Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa gave a reception in honor of saintary workers who served on Eid-ul-Adha. The reception was attended by the Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, IG Islamabad Police, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, other officers and a large number of sanitary workers who served on Eid-ul-Adha.
Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has congratulated the saintary workers who made the Zero Waste City operation a success on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. Mohsin Naqvi termed the mutual coordination of all departments as exemplary and said that due to effective communication and mutual cooperation, Islamabad got the honor of being the cleanest city.
On the instructions of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, an announcement was also made to give one month’s basic salary as a bonus to the CDA workers who participated in cleanliness operation.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa while addressing the occasion said that all the officers and our heroes sanitary workers worked with unmatched zeal and commitment. He further said that sanitary workers worked hard for the honor and beauty of Islamabad and Allah honored us all and Islamabad emerged as a unit.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa while speaking added that for the first time the Prime Minister of Pakistan congratulated everyone for his hard work and on the instructions of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, this event was organized to encourage our staff who remain in the field during eid.
Chairman CDA while addressing added that the development work continued even during the days of Eid due to which the confidence of the citizens in the institution has been restored. He further said that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, establishing a control room in Safe City and introducing biodegradable bags helped make the operation successful.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad said that for the first time in the history of Islamabad, the services of saintary workers were appreciated.
IG Islamabad while addressing said that Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad deserve congratulations for highlighting efforts these unsung heroes. He further said that I salute these workers and their families on behalf of Islamabad Police.
On this occasion, the CDA sanitary workers said that they are grateful to the Federal Interior Minister for encouraging them for the first time.
