Ahsan Iqbal urges all provinces to work jointly against terrorism

Islamabad, August 6 (TNS): Federal Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal urged all provincial governments to work together against menace of terrorism.

According to reports, the interior minister telephoned all four chief ministers stressed upon unity as Pakistan’s development is impossible without peace.

Ahsan who assumed charged of key ministry, said that everyone has to work together for defeating terrorism.

The minster said that political agendas must be kept aside when it comes to safeguard the country and defeating terrorism.

‘Eradication of lawlessness and termination of terrorism is the national objective and all governments should work for it jointly,’ he added.

Meanwhile media reports suggested that Ahsan Iqbal has called a high-level meeting on 8th August in which the objectives, set for the next 10 months, will be reviewed and discussed.

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has been directed to make use of information technology in their work.
