Tangwani (TNS) Near Rustam, Shikarpur, armed assailants attempted to rob the leader of the Domki community. The situation escalated into a gunfight between the assailants and the guards, resulting in the deaths of two guards and one assailant. The Domki community leader, Mir Ghulab Khan Domki, sustained injuries during the attack.
According to details, more than ten armed men tried to rob the vehicle of Mir Ghulab Khan Domki on the Mirzawah Check Post near the Rustam-Faizo Road while he was traveling from Sukkur to Kandhkot. The guards resisted, leading to a fierce exchange of gunfire. Two guards, Salar Domki and Mehr Domki from Bakhshapur, were killed. In retaliation, the guards managed to kill one assailant, identified as Nadir Mirani, who had a bounty of 2 million rupees on his head.
Following the incident, police from various stations in Shikarpur district reached the crime scene. The bodies of the two guards were shifted to Khanpur Hospital, while the assailants escaped with the body of their accomplice, firing as they fled. The attack caused widespread panic in the area.
Mir Ghulab Khan Domki, who was injured in the shooting, was transported to Ziauddin Hospital in Sukkur, where his condition is reported to be stable. Authorities have increased security on rustom-faizo road and sealed the area for further investigation.
