He said that the armed forces of Pakistan are deeply grateful to the spirit, courage and full support of the entire nation, especially the youth, who have boosted our morale in the most difficult times. We are also indebted to the youth of Pakistan who have become frontline soldiers on the cyber and information front, and are also grateful to the dynamic and brave media of Pakistan who stood like an iron wall against India’s propaganda and war madness in Operation Banyan Marsus. DG ISPR said that we are also grateful to the leadership of all political parties without distinction, who have shown their utmost commitment to standing by the side of the Pakistani armed forces, above political differences, united in the defense of the homeland, and are also appreciative of the leadership skills and bold decisions of the armed forces, especially the Prime Minister of Pakistan and his cabinet, who have guided the country in the right direction at this critical juncture. While giving details of Operation Banyan Marsus, he said that the armed forces gave a befitting reply to the enemy, in which the full capabilities of real-time situational awareness, network-centric warfare and multi-domain operations were utilized with complete coordination of the three forces. He said that important targets were destroyed with complete coordination in land, air, sea and cyberspace and 26 important Indian military targets used against Pakistan were targeted.The facilities that are used to promote terrorism in Pakistan were targeted not only in occupied Kashmir but also inside India. The targeted locations included Suratgarh, Sirsa, Bajha, Adampur, Awantipora, Udhampur, Nalia, Barnala, Bathinda, Alwara, Srinagar, Jammu, Mamoon, Ambala and Pathankot. The Brahmos missile depots in Beas and Nagrota, which were used in attacks on Pakistani citizens, were destroyed.
The DG ISPR said that the Pakistan Air Force targeted India’s S-400 air defense system at Bhuj and Adampur locations, while logistics and support centers like the field supply depot in Uri and the radar system in Poonch were also targeted. The command installations of 10 Brigade and 80 Brigade in KG Top, Nowshera were also destroyed, these are the installations from which innocent civilians were targeted by unprovoked firing. He said that the military intelligence units and their field elements in Rajouri and Nowshera, which were supporting proxies involved in terrorism in Pakistan, were also eliminated, while all the artillery, logistics and posts outside the Line of Control that were firing on civilians in Azad Kashmir were retaliated severely and continuously, until they hoisted white flags.
He said that India violated Pakistan’s airspace through drones to spread fear and intimidate the public. In response, during Operation Banyan Marsus, Pakistan’s armed drones continued to fly continuously over major cities including the Indian capital New Delhi and from occupied Kashmir to Gujarat, so that Pakistan’s capabilities could not only be demonstrated but also that the domains of these drones were of no use in the current warfare.
The spokesperson said that the Pakistani forces also carried out extensive cyber attacks, which resulted in the paralysis of important Indian communication and infrastructure systems that the Indian forces were using. It should be remembered that the Pakistani forces have many such modern warfare capabilities, some of which have been used on a limited basis, while many capabilities have been reserved for the future.

He showed a video clip of representatives of the Indian Ministry of Defense in which they were describing the details of the attacks by the Pakistani forces, then he said that Pakistan only targeted Indian military targets. He said that the international and Indian media are reporting that only military targets were targeted in India, we had told you that we do not target civilians, our religion, our culture and the professionalism of our armed forces do not allow civilians to be targeted. Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed said that we were giving special importance to Rafale aircraft in the air and after that we had special attention on the S-400 system on the ground and this system was carefully targeted in Adampur. He further said that Pakistan has never requested any ceasefire, the fact is that on the night of May 6 and 7, a request was made by India, however, Pakistan clearly replied that we will be ready for talks only if we give our response, our response on May 10 was historic in which no civilian population was targeted, after our retaliatory action, India requested a ceasefire.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that this dispute has once again made the Kashmir issue a flashpoint, which should be resolved according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. DG ISPR said that the fact is that there is no scope for war between two nuclear powers like Pakistan and India because it is tantamount to destruction for both, that is why Pakistan has shown great responsibility in this conflict, and has also ensured that the forces deployed on the western border, which are fighting terrorism, are not affected.
In response to a question regarding the ceasefire, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that Pakistan’s armed forces are observing the ceasefire on the LoC, there is no violation of the ceasefire by our forces, because we are a professional army and strictly abide by our agreements.
He said that the people of Pakistan are celebrating peace, but if there is any aggression, we will definitely respond to it.
