Karachi (TNS) Karachi As part of the Independence Day and “Battle for Truth” celebrations, Karachi Development Authority (KDA) organized a patriotic event under the directives of Director General Asif Jan Siddiqui. Secretary KDA Muhammad Arshad Khan, along with the Patron-in-Chief of the Peoples Labor Union, Muhammad Ashraf, visited the KDA School in Federal B Area, Block 14. During the visit, a cake-cutting ceremony was held with schoolchildren, followed by distribution of gifts to the students. Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Arshad Khan emphasized the significance of national development and reiterated the need to provide better educational opportunities to children who represent the future of the nation. As a symbolic gesture of environmental responsibility, a tree plantation activity was conducted in the school courtyard by Muhammad Ashraf. The event was attended by Deputy Secretary General KDA Umar Farooq, union officials, teachers, and a large number of students. The celebration reflected unity, educational awareness, and a commitment to a greener Pakistan.
