ISLAMABAD (TNS): Chairman of Pyaas International Human Rights and renowned journalist and anchorperson Rana Imran Latif has formally launched the ‘Tayyar Khana’ (Ready Meal) campaign. Under this initiative, mobile kitchen teams will distribute thousands of free food boxes daily in hospitals, bus terminals, slum areas, underprivileged neighborhoods, and commercial centers across the twin cities.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Rana Imran Latif stated:
“Our aim is that no one sleeps hungry anymore. Ready meals will be delivered to those who are compelled to starve and cannot afford food.”

He further said that Pyaas International had initiated a relief campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering essential food supplies to over 10,000 deserving families. Today, this number has grown to over 100,000 families. All these services have been provided without publicity or media coverage.
“Due to increasing poverty and food insecurity in the country, and in line with our mission to expand Pyaas International’s operations nationwide, I am now personally taking part in the campaign for the first time — upon the insistence of friends and well-wishers,” he added.

Pyaas International continues to deliver free ration supplies to the doorsteps of those in need. From now on, 10,000 prepared food boxes will be distributed daily, and a target has been set to deliver over 100,000 food boxes within the next three months. The campaign will be expanded across the country so that this service can reach every street, neighborhood, and village.

Rana Imran Latif expressed his gratitude to all the generous donors and partner institutions who are quietly supporting the mission of Pyaas International. He said:
“These are the people who, in the true spirit of charity, give with the right hand so that the left hand does not know.”

He also announced that next week, a new campaign will be launched to distribute Zamzam water and Ajwa dates to patients admitted in hospitals across the twin cities — a campaign that will continue alongside the food distribution efforts.
