Shafqat Mahmood Declared Best Revenue Officer High-level meeting chaired by DC Attock Rao Atif Raza Fatah Jang outpaces all other tehsils in performance race Exemplary actions against profiteers, revenue collection, and land record reforms Pledge in meeting: Attock administration fully aligned with CM Maryam Nawaz’s vision A high-level meeting of district officers was held on Wednesday under the command of Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza, attended by all assistant commissioners, tehsildars, and revenue officials. The agenda focused on a comprehensive review of district performance and strategies for effective implementation of government policies.

During the briefing, it was made clear that Tehsil Fatah Jang had secured decisive superiority on every front. Tehsildar Fatah Jang, Ch. Shafqat Mahmood, stood out for his robust operations against wheat smugglers, stern action against profiteers, transparent handling of land transfers, and effective revenue collection. In recognition of these outstanding efforts, he was declared the Best Revenue Officer at the district level.

Deputy Commissioner Rao Atif Raza praised his performance, stating that Ch. Shafqat Mahmood’s tireless commitment and bold decisions had turned Fatah Jang into a model tehsil for the entire district. The large-scale crackdown on wheat smugglers, he noted, was not only a service to the people but also a direct reflection of government vision being translated into action.

Speaking on Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s vision, participants of the meeting reaffirmed that her clear directive is for the administration to deliver tangible results in governance, public relief, and rule of law. The meeting resolved to ensure full implementation of CM Maryam Nawaz’s reform agenda at every level — from curbing inflation to strengthening revenue operations — so that governance becomes more transparent, effective, and responsive to citizens.

The meeting further reviewed milestone achievements in Fatah Jang, including timely completion of land transfers, correction of blocked khewats, 100% recovery of government dues, and decisive action against land grabbers. As Special Price Control Magistrate, Ch. Shafqat Mahmood’s measures against market mafias were also hailed as exemplary.

All participating officers reiterated their resolve to enhance performance under the guidance of CM Punjab. They agreed to strengthen the command-and-control system at the district level to guarantee good governance and sustained public service delivery.

Among the officials present were DCR Aslam Marth, assistant commissioners of all six tehsils, and revenue officers. In a joint declaration, the participants affirmed that the Attock administration will not hesitate to take any action, launch any operation, or make any sacrifice to uphold the rule of law and deliver relief to the people.
