Islamabad, August 7 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi who spent a busy day, met with ministers, Parliamentarians and other key officials here on Monday.
Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication Anusha Rehman called on the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at PM Office.
Anusha Rehman briefed the PM regarding working of the IT Ministry and digitization of the federal government organizations.
The Prime Minister directed that the digitization process be implemented on fast track as it would ensure transparency and facilitate timely decision making.
Meanwhile, a delegation of PML-N Women Parliamentarians also called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
PML-N Women Parliamentarians apprised the PM about issues pertaining to their respective constituencies.
The Prime Minister assured facilitation with regards to development schemes being undertaken in their constituencies and stated that the government is focusing on gender mainstreaming in all sectors.
Earlier, FATA Parliamentarians also met Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at National Assembly Chamber.

The Prime Minister said that the government accords top priority to FATA’s development and assured that he will personally supervise the development initiatives at FATA.
FATA Parliamentarians included MNAs Sajid Hussain Toori, Bilal Rehman, Syed Ghazi Gulab Jamal, Bismillah Khan, Alhaj Shah Gee Gul Afridi and Nasir Khan.
