ISLAMABAD (TNS)— Punjab Police officer Shaban Khalid Goraya has been promoted to the rank of Inspector. The Inspector General of Punjab Police formally pinned the badges on him during a ceremony held yesterday. Present on the occasion were his father, Inspector Khalid Goraya, a well-known police officer, and his younger brother, Hayan Goraya.
Shaban Khalid Goraya has served for several years in District Khanewal, where he earned recognition for his professionalism, discipline, and outstanding field performance. Senior officials describe him as one of the most competent Station House Officers (SHOs) in the district, known for successfully completing every assignment entrusted to him.
His father, Inspector Khalid Goraya, is widely regarded as a symbol of integrity and courage — an officer who has always upheld the rule of law and demonstrated unwavering commitment to duty throughout his distinguished career.
DSP Sadar Khalid Javed Joiya personally congratulated Shaban Khalid Goraya on his promotion, commending his consistent professionalism, dedication, and service record.
