ISLAMABAD (TNS):Sports Reporter) Islamabad wins second YES Women T10 League title Islamabad defeated defending champions Rawalpindi by 16 runs in a thrilling final match at the Rawal Road Cricket Ground in the YES Women T10 League.
Six teams from Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan showcased their skills during the tournament organized by the Youth Education and Sports (YES) Welfare Society. In the final, Rawalpindi won the toss and decided to field first and allowed Islamabad to bat. Islamabad scored 84 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in its 10 overs. Mahim Anis performed brilliantly and scored 57 runs off 37 balls, Ayesha Ashiq scored 10 runs. For Rawalpindi, Mahim Nazakat, Hamna Bilal and Kiran Malik took one wicket each. In reply, Rawalpindi could only score 68 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in pursuit of the target. Hamna Bilal was the top scorer for Rawalpindi with 53 runs. For Islamabad, Tania Saeed showed excellent bowling and took 2 wickets while Laiba Mansoor and Laiba Nasir took one wicket each.

The awards ceremony was attended by the special guests, former chairman of Rawalpindi Cricket Association and member of the PCB Governing Board, Ashraf Qureshi, Secretary General of AFL Pakistan Chaudhry Zulfiqar, President of Yes, Zahid Awan, former Test cricketer Naveed Qureshi, Irfan Bhatti, Irfan Khan and Mushfiqur Hussain.
Maham Anis was declared the top scorer of the tournament with 151 runs in three matches, while Tania Saeed was declared the best bowler with 3 wickets. Hamna Bilal received the best all-rounder award for her outstanding performance, scoring 131 runs and taking 2 wickets. This victory is a significant achievement for the Islamabad team, which has consolidated its place in the history of the league.
