ISLAMABAD Aug 8 (TNS): The federal cabinet will meet today to discuss overall situation of the country and performances of different ministries, besides other agenda items.
The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
Sources said that the soon after the swearing-in of the cabinet, PM Abbasi had chaired a meeting of the cabinet and directed ministers to improve the performance of their ministries.
In this regard, cabinet meeting has been convened today which will discuss the performance of ministries.
The cabinet will also discuss the rally of former PM Nawaz Sharif through GT Road. Sources said that the cabinet will be briefed about the law and order situation.
Abbasi was elected as new Prime Minister following the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif by Supreme Court in Panmagate case.
