ISLAMABAD (PR: Dated November 15, 2025)(TNS): In line with the direction of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, CDA’s grand operation against illegal constructions and encroachments is continuing persistently in Islamabad. The anti-encroachment operation in the adjoining areas of Diplomatic Enclave was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Director General Enforcement, Dr. Anam Fatima.

According to the details, anti encroachment operation was conducted against the land mafia and illegal occupants in the adjoining areas of Diplomatic Enclave, resulting in the peaceful recovery of 42 kanals of estate land so far. The anti-encroachment operation was carried out after fulfilling all legal formalities and issuance of regular prior notices to the illegal occupants.

These actions were implemented by the CDA Enforcement Directorate with the support of the district administration and Islamabad Police. Modern satellite imagery from SUPARCO was also utilized in these anti-encroachment operations. SUPARCO’s advanced satellite images are being obtained for the timely identification of all types of illegal constructions and encroachments in Islamabad. Heavy machinery was also used during these operations to remove illegal constructions and encroachments. CDA administration said that these actions against illegal constructions and encroachments will continue consistently in the future as well.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that every possible measure will be taken for the complete eradication of illegal constructions and encroachments. He directed that long-term measures be taken to secure the recovered land from future occupation.

Chairman CDA said that actions against illegal encroachments are essential for the city’s beauty and organized urban planning. He gave clear instructions, saying that a zero-tolerance policy must be adopted against illegal constructions, encroachments, and the land mafia. Chairman CDA further said that the aim of these measures is to make the Federal Capital, Islamabad, the most beautiful and well-planned city in the world.

In this regard, CDA administration has appealed to citizens for cooperation, urging them to fully cooperate with the relevant departments in the anti-encroachment campaign. CDA administration further said that any instance of illegal occupation should be reported immediately to the relevant authorities.
