ISLAMABAD (TNS): (PR: Dated November 25, 2025): Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, met with Chairman SUPARCO, Muhammad Yousaf Khan on Tuesday at the CDA Headquarters. The meeting was attended by CDA’s Member Planning and Design, Dr. Khalid Hafiz, Member Engineering, Syed Nafasat Raza along with senior officers from both CDA and SUPARCO.
During the meeting, several key areas of mutual cooperation including the use of advanced satellite imagery, drone technology and educational collaboration were discussed.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that SUPARCO’s advanced satellite imagery will help resolve land issues in various sectors and ensure the swift elimination of illegal constructions and encroachments. He said that the use of satellite technology will help effective urban planning in both sectoral and non-sectoral areas. Chairman CDA mentioned that this cooperation with SUPARCO will open new doors for the development and urban planning of Islamabad.
During the meeting, SUPARCO assured its full technical support for establishing a modern lab for CDA. It was also agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance educational collaboration between the CDA School and SUPARCO.
Chairman SUPARCO Muhammad Yousaf Khan said that they are always ready to provide full cooperation to CDA in aligning the ongoing development activities in the Federal Capital with modern technology. He appreciated the performance of CDA in the rapid completion of development projects in the Capital City.
During the meeting, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa also expressed his commitment to utilize SUPARCO’s high-level technical expertise and capabilities.
