KARACHI (TNS) Karachi The Government of Sindh’s Services General Administration and Coordination Department has issued a notification appointing Professor Dr Khalid Sher as the Executive Director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a period of three years. He has been transferred from JSMU to the Health Department on deputation.
The medical community considers this appointment an important and strategic decision. Dr Khalid Sher is a senior neurologist known for his professional integrity, academic excellence, and administrative competence. The hospital staff expressed confidence that his leadership will strengthen the administrative structure and improve service delivery.
Health experts said that his appointment is expected to bring improvements in emergency care, patient management, and hospital operations.
The YDA JPMC also welcomed the decision and congratulated Dr Khalid Sher. The association said that the Sindh government has chosen a capable and experienced professional for a key position.
