Islamabad (TNS): District Health Officer Islamabad, Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool, visited Fatima Memorial Dispensary located at Police Lines Headquarters, Islamabad, along with Mr. Abdul Haque Umrani, AIG / Logistics.
During the visit, the District Health Officer reviewed the healthcare facilities and appreciated the initiatives taken by the Islamabad Capital Police to improve service delivery and enhance healthcare services at the dispensary. She acknowledged the efforts made to provide quality primary healthcare to police personnel and their families.
Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool also held discussions on potential areas of future collaboration, including the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), dengue prevention and control activities, and capacity-building trainings for healthcare staff. She emphasized the importance of interdepartmental coordination to strengthen public health services and ensure better health outcomes for the community.
The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to further enhance cooperation for improving healthcare services in the federal capital.
