Islamabad (TNS) IGP shares Iftar with officers, reviews security measures
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, joined police officers and officials for Iftar at the Seventh Avenue check post and broke his fast with them.On this occasion, he appreciated and motivated the officers and officials. He stated that every officer and official of Islamabad Police is committed to fulfilling their duties. The role of every member of the force in the discharge of their responsibilities is commendable.He further said that he is proud of the professional competence, bravery, and integrity of the officers and officials of Islamabad Police.The IGP Islamabad also directed the officers to continue performing their duties professionally during the holy month of Ramadan and to carry out their responsibilities with zeal and commitment.Afterward, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired a meeting with DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya and the IT team.He issued directions to all officers to align the city’s security and traffic management systems with modern requirements, ensure effective monitoring of Safe City cameras, make better use of technology, and, through a coordinated strategy, provide citizens with a safe and secure environment.
