A prestigious ceremony was held at the Regional Office Rawalpindi to distribute cheques for marriage grants of Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh, death grants of Rs. 1 lakh and scholarship grants of Rs. 36,000 to Rs. 72,000 among the members of the Punjab Prison Foundation Lahore.The event was presided over by Deputy Inspector General Prisons, Rawalpindi Region, Rawalpindi, Mr. Abdul Rauf Ranane, who appreciated the role of Punjab Prison Foundation, Lahore in providing financial assistance and welfare support to the members. He emphasized that such initiatives boost the morale of the members and reflect the commitment of the department towards the welfare of its employees and their families.In the ceremony, Deputy Inspector General Prisons Rawalpindi Region Rawalpindi distributed cheques issued under the welfare schemes of Punjab Prison Foundation, Lahore among the officers and officials of his region. Marriage grant is given to officers/officials to facilitate the marriage of their children, while scholarship grant is provided to support the educational pursuit of their talented and capable children. Death grant is given to the parents, wives and children of the members of Punjab Prison Foundation, Lahore on the occasion of death.
