Islamabad (TNS) Strict checking implemented for visitors entering Diplomatic Enclave
Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police is working tirelessly to maintain law and order in the federal capital. In this regard, police officers and personnel are effectively performing their duties to ensure the security of embassies, residences, United Nations offices, and other key government installations located in the Diplomatic Enclave.Senior police officers, while issuing instructions to officers and personnel deployed on duty, emphasized that the protection of all government and private offices and embassies located in the high-security zone is of utmost importance. They directed that no negligence or carelessness should be shown during duty. They further instructed that the details of all individuals entering the High-Security Zone must be properly recorded, and thorough checking of vehicles and motorcycles used by visitors must be carried out. All government employees are advised to carry their official departmental cards and cooperate with police personnel during the process of checking and registration. Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to maintain law and order in Islamabad.
